National Seminar on Animation
16 Feb & 17 Feb 2018

About Animeet

The term "persistence of vision" describes the optical phenomenon that makes animation possible. The same phrase could also be applied to the mind-set of a young (or not quite so young!) person who has his or her heart set on becoming a animator. For generations, each animated feature film has ignited in the minds of thousands of individuals the desire to be a part of the marvel they see on the screen.

So, we have designed ANIMEET event at Symbiosis Institute of Design which had kick started in 2012 to give a proper direction to these Ignited minds by providing them the Experience shared by Industry experts present at the event. The main aim behind Animeet is to provide a platform to Young Animators, Film Makers & Designers for promoting exchange of Creative & technical knowledge in the Indian Art & Animation Industry with a view to strengthen the knowledge of the young talent across the country. The event creates a opportunity for the students to interact with industry professionals on varied topics like 2D Animation, VFX, Gaming, Experimental Animation & many more during the animated conversation.

We are glad to announce that a colorful & animated event kick started at Symbiosis Institute of Design in 2012 with a theme name ANIMEET is back this year on 16 Feb & 17 Feb 2018. We have tried to rope in speakers who are most experienced in their genre of work & tried to serve you with knowledge from different topics of Animation. This year we have three speakers with us for Animeet 2018.
