Vision and Mission

The Communication Design program is designed to develop an understanding of all the areas of communication, be it in print or in interactive displays, creating an animation to enhance a message to producing videos or films. Communication leads to community, that is, to understanding, intimacy and mutual valuing. There is more than a verbal tie between the words common, community, and communication. Try the experiment of communicating, with fullness and accuracy by composing the designer in you on any of the four electives that one gets to explore at this niche of Communication Design.

Scholars say Communication does not depend on syntax, or eloquence, or rhetoric, or articulation but on the emotional context in which the message is been received. At SID Communication explores the various languages of visual art in the areas of Graphics that enhances both the functional and the artistic means of Communication.
