Abhijit joined SID around two years ago as an adjunct faculty. This is his first teaching job which has turned out to be a very refreshing experience especially because of the positivity and enthusiasm of the young students. He has been working in the field of graphic design and 2D animation for close to three decades and wanted to explore teaching as it was getting difficult to cope with the demanding timelines of industry work. He still work as a freelance animator but this his best to choose projects that are fairly less demanding, especially time wise.

Abhijit has a BFA in Applied Arts and has completed a year long certification course at the Vancouver Film School in Canada in Classical Animation after which he has worked in the animation domain for more than 22 years and would like to continue teaching and working together.
