Brajesh Kumar joined the Symbiosis Institute of Design on 4th August 2025 as an Adjunct Faculty, bringing with him extensive expertise in 3D design and visual effects. His primary role at SID is to teach 3D, CG asset creation, 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering sharing his industry knowledge and creative skills with aspiring designers.
Brajesh began his professional journey after completing a Diploma in Advanced 3D Animation in 2005–2006. Over the past 18 years, he has built a distinguished career as a CG and VFX artist, contributing to some of the most renowned studios in the industry, including MPC, DNEG, Prime Focus, Technicolor, The Mill, Rodeo FX, and Scanline VFX (Netflix).
His work spans an impressive portfolio of blockbuster and award-winning films such as Aquaman 2, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Black Adam, Mission Impossible 6, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, Godzilla, and many more. In these projects, Brajesh has been involved in creating visually stunning sequences, integrating cutting-edge technology with artistic vision.
With a deep passion for storytelling through visuals, Brajesh combines technical mastery with creativity, inspiring students to think beyond conventional design boundaries. His experience across global studios and high-profile productions gives him unique insights into both the creative and technical aspects of the industry.
At SID, he aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by preparing students for real-world challenges in CG and VFX, fostering innovation, and encouraging a hands-on approach to learning.
